Welcome To "In The Real World"!!

This blog is a basic critique of some books that I have read in the last few years and a little insight of what is going on with me. Notice the word "little" because I DID NOT write this blog as a gabbing area about what is going on in my life and plus anyone in the world with a computer and an internet connection can read this and I DOO NOT WANT A KYD IN RUZZYA TO MOK MI POR SPELING SCILS!!

"Scribbler of Dreams"

"Scribbler of Dreams" By Katherine Pearson is a modern love story in the midst of a five generational family conflict that has recently been intensified. Kaitlyn Malone's father has recently been put in jail for manslaughter, of a Crutchfield.

"I HATE THE CRUTCHFIELDS. I WAS BORN TO."

Kaitlyn feels that way especially after her father is falsely accused of the manslaughter of the ringleader of the Crutchfields. Money gets tight, so Kaitlyn and her sister Abby are forced to enroll in Twin Oaks High, a public school built by the Crutchfields. When Kaitlyn attends, she meets a mysterious artist who turns out to be Bram Crutchfield, the son of the man her father was accused of killing. Instead of telling Bram the truth, they fall helplessly in love and Kaitlyn gets herself tangled into a web of lies. This book is a wonderful choice for anyone interested in history, a good moral, and an excellent love story begging to have a sequel written.

"New Moon"

"New Moon" by Stephanie Meyers is the #2 in the "Twilight" series featuring Bella Swann, Edward Cullen, and the whole Cullen coven of vampires. In the beginning of the book, it is Bella's 18th birthday but technically, the love of her life is still 17 in looks, but in all actuality, he is over 110 years old. Vampires don't age, and that plays a HUGE role in the book because Carlisle, Edward's "adoptive father", is 27 in vampire years but in human years, he is over 380 years old. Because the coven's "adoptive parents" Carlisle and Esme cannot pass as Rosalie, Alice, Emmett, Jasper, and Edward's "parents" anymore, the whole coven is forced to re~locate. Bella cannot join them either, because she is still mortal. Anyone who read "Twilight" NEEDS to read "New Moon" ,its sequel, by Stephanie Meyers. We are all begging for more of this brilliant author's work!!

My Random Daily News Reel

If ya'll haven't already noticed, I've put up a special "Today's Random News" column near my friend links. Every day, I'll change the subject on the column to something totally different that I've ever typed. I'm just random like that!!=)

"Twilight"

"Twilight" by Stephanie Meyers is an instant love classic with a little twist....... there are vampires. Bella Swan moves in with her clueless father,Charlie, to the cloudiest and rainiest town in the continental United States, Forks, Washington. At school she makes friends, and what she considers foes, a "young" man named Edward Cullen. All he does is stare at her with an angery look, until he moves across a 20 foot parking lot in 2 seconds to save her life. After that he starts being friendly for some totally unapparent reason. At first Bella is suspicious, but Edward soon wins her over with his charm, grace, poise, and INCREDIBLY DREAMY smile. The rest of this amazing book is for you to read about. There are also sequels out called "New Moon" and "Eclipse". And no, these great books have nothing to do with astronomy!

"Before I Go"

"Before I Go" by Riley Weston is the heart~wrenching story of Madison's skating dreams, her struggle with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare muscle cancer, her love for Jackson, and the power of hope and really strong painkillers. This book is a definite must~have for any bookworm like myself and a story whose moral is an in between the lines lesson for mature people because of some foul language.

Thirteen Reasons Why!

"Thirteen Reasons Why" is Clay Jensen's chilling account of a night listening to his dead love's voice giving the "Thirteen Reasons Why" she took her own life. Hannah Baker was a normal freshman just trying to get through high school when her life suddenly took a "U Turn". A depressing series of events of events that will change the way you talk and think to ,or about, other people caused her to go into a hidden depression, chop off her beautiful blonde hair, and start giving her possessions away before she committed suicide. "Thirteen Reasons Why" is Jay Asher's first novel that was inspired by a tape~tour of a museum. The sound of a woman's voice ,without her being there, was the single thing that got this brilliant man's mind jogged into writng this addictingly good novel that will make you beg for more. But then again, that is the only thing about this book to think twice about is................ He can't write more on Hannah Baker because she is DEAD.
